Charlie Green is the bass player and founder of Dawson Street Band. Charlie has many years of experience and wrote and recorded a song with the band The Swing Sensations that had radio time in the Carolinas. In the same year the band opened up for national artist The Guess Who. In the late 70's, he's played with many bands in the Palmetto state and opened up for Eddie Rabbit and other national acts, prior to the Dawson Street Band project. You may recognize him from his many years with the local NC band Rockin Horse. Charlie resides in Kannapolis NC
KD has many years experience as a singer and performer in stage and theater, as well as a singer/songwriter. You can find her on iTunes, Apple Music, Reverbnation as well as other popular streaming sites. She joined Dawson Street in 2017 and loves the 'Dawson Street' style. Prior to Dawson Street, she was founder of the band 'Petty Disguise', which performed several of her originals as well as covers. " I hope all who listen enjoy what they hear, but most of all I hope they FEEL what they hear, because I certainly do....every time I sing a lyric, I feel every word down to my toes".....
Jack has many years of experience in both rhythm, lead and lead vocals. Going back to the 70's where he had his own band that played a variety of rock, blues, beach and original songs. His vast experience, and unique sound has brought and continues to bring Dawson Street that 'special' touch that stands out in the best of our variety of music.
Beginning at age eight, Scott Duffy was fortunate to take piano lessons continuing for the next eleven years. His first public solo during fifth grade was the catalyst for future performances; churches, weddings, school musicals and rock bands.
He currently uses Roland keyboards for live gigs, but plays a Kawaii Electric Baby Grand for pleasure at home.
Jeremy was born in Buffalo NY but is by nature and experience a native to everywhere. Having lived in many places along the east coast through his childhood he has learned to live with his spirit free and open to all ways of life. And it shines through in his music. Jeremy picked up guitar at the early age of 12 and has performed in many bars, coffee shops and festivals as both a solo artist and as a duo with other singer/songwriters. Jeremy currently resides in Charlotte, NC.
Denver started his percussion career in Erie, Pennsylvania. In 2012, he received his Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Music Performance with an influence in Percussion from Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania. In May of 2015, he completed his Maters Degree in Percussion Performance from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, and has since settled down in Charlotte. He has been involved with many projects that include both recording and live music performance, and the expertise he brings to Dawson Street clearly shows his diversity and technicality.
